  • to have your child baptised at St. John’s
  • to have your marriage service at St.John’s
  • to have a funeral at St. John’s.
Baptisms are traditionally held during the 9.30am Eucharist on Sundays. Weddings and funerals are by arrangement with the Rector.

Ministry with the Sick and the Dying

"Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord".

Please call the Rector if you wish to have the benefit of the ministry to the sick – either for yourself or anyone known to you. A ministry is also available for anyone who is facing death. Prayers, support and, if appropriate, anointing is available to anyone, including those in hospital who are in any kind of need or distress.

Pastoral and Spiritual Counselling including Care for the Elderly

This ministry is offered by the Rector and selected people to those in need.
Contact: the Rector at 9810 1396 or cjbutt@digisurf.net.au

Reconciliation and Forgiveness

"Go in peace. The Lord has put away all your sins, and pray for me, a sinner"

The ministry of individual reconciliation is part of the Anglican tradition. It is available at any time on request. The priest, after confession of sins, offers absolution and guidance, counsel and encouragement.
